Bill Finnell- LPC/MHSP ACS, Doctorate of Ministry
‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. ‘” — Jeremiah 29:11.
Bill is married with three young children. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a double major in Religious Studies and Psychology. After graduation, he worked in camping ministries for two years, then moved to Colorado to pursue his Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary. In 2004, he moved to Memphis to work as the Bereavement Program Manager at Baptist Trinity Hospice’s Center for Good Grief. He then assumed the role of Director of Counseling Services at Baptist College of Health Sciences. Bill and his family lived for three years in Spain providing member care and counseling to families serving as missionaries overseas. He is certified by the State of TN and the National Board for Certified Counselors as an Approved Clinical Supervisor.
In his free time, he enjoys college football, playing golf, reading, movies, spending time with his family, and traveling.
Education: Bill earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Religious Studies from the University of Alabama. He earned his Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary (2004), and completed his Doctorate of Ministry degree at Columbia Biblical Seminary.
