Loye Ellsworth, MA Counseling
Loye (sounds like joy) graduated with her Master of Arts in Counseling from The Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. She has previously worked with adults–mainly individuals and couples at the Christian Counseling Center of Bartlett and Sanctuary Counseling Center.
Loye has followed Jesus since she was young, and her faith shapes how she sees and loves people. She values connection, vulnerability, honesty, and fun, and she believes everyone’s story matters.
She is passionate about helping others see their strengths and stories as empowerment for their healing. Loye believes that a person’s past experiences, whether positive or negative, shape their present lives. People are resilient and can heal if they are willing to put in the work. Loye uses the Townsend Model as her foundation with clients, since it is grounded in a biblical lens and aligns well with a person-centered approach, helping her create a more personal connection with them. Loye’s main hope and desire is to be a safe person for people and a place where her clients feel heard and seen.
When she isn’t at the office, Loye enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, their dog Reese, and being outside as much as possible.
“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
