Welcome to HeartLife Professional Soul-Care

HeartLife Professional Soul-Care was started by Christian, licensed professional psychologists and counselors.  We recognized a void in current mental health treatment models.  There are few genuine or focused professional entities operating with ties and accountability to the local Church.

We were burdened to begin a ministry for hurting individuals looking for a deep healing experience consistent with their faith.  At HeartLife, we prefer the term “soul-care” to “counseling” because we believe it more accurately describes the relational model of caring, found in Christian traditions and Scripture.  It is our desire to be involved in the development and delivery of a Christian Psychology (investigate this link for more information http://christianpsych.org/).

HeartLife is a truly unique not-for-profit organization. Our counselors look to God’s Word for guidance and incorporate models from clinical training in their methods. It is our belief, that by taking this approach our counselors are equipped with the knowledge, support and accountability needed to share the grace they have received, and guide hurting souls to a genuine healing experience. Additionally, we are dedicated to supporting the local church by training pastors and lay leaders to establish soul-care ministries in their churches. HeartLife is committed to follow Christ and join Him in His ministry of redemption and healing. Our organization is interdenominational.
